Singer-songwriter Jenifer Aubry from Montreal, is the type of open-hearted woman whose voice is a perfect medium to express feelings.Following her brilliant and acclaimed interpretation of Maureen in the Canadian version of the musical RENT Jenifer Aubry left for a peculiar Street Tour across the country (Montreal to Vancouver) to introduce her first album Duneland.Structured in a highly artistic way the tour allowed Jenifer to give spontaneous performances as she went and wherever she pleased along the road. With her very special vehicle, which turns itself into a stage at show time, she cheered hundreds of people up and demonstrated a rare talent, a complete authenticity. Then, she pursued her live work in progress as resident to the Quai des Brumes in Montreal and performed in Toronto and Ottawa (Juno 2003 peace concert with Sam Roberts, Holly McNarland and Tragically Hips Gordon Downie.)The result ? Bubble, her second album, is poignantly sincere and incredibly magnetic. Bubble had caught the 20th Century Fox attention even before it was released and some of the song from Jenifers album have been chosen for popular American show soundtracks such as Dawsons Creek and Significant Others. In 2004, Jenifer went back on the road. This time, she crossed the country coast to coast (from Halifax to Vancouver) and extended once more her circle of fans.Jenifer is now preparing her third album.More info at: www.jeniferaubry.com
