HISTORY
I've been playing music since I was about 7, when I learnt piano and music theory grade 5. I especially loved jazz...In my teens I made my entry onto the underground music as a UK garage mc when I was about 15, I was desperate to make my mark, so I used to sneak out of my house at night to go to garage raves and battle it out in MC competitions. I was approached by Confetti recordings, but had to back out of the contract because of my age, but I still got to perform with some top names in the garage scene.
I started mixing about the same time (8 years ago), and built my collection with any money I had. I got on to a local pirate station 'XL FM' as an mc/DJ, then joined up with DJ Yeti (from Bassline Records, one of the top uk garage outlets at the time) and played weekly prime-time slots as his MC on popular London pirate stations 'Touchdown FM' and 'Devine FM', which led on to me performing at big nightclubs, like Bagleys (R.I.P)...
As the garage scene kind of died down around 2000, I focused solely on building my music collection and mixing lots of different genres, and made the jump to professional DJ about 7 years ago.
Since then I've played at many bars and clubs across London and Kent and continue to do so now as the 'Bustinloose DJ's' with my fellow music event promoter Mr.Corsini.....
