Uesugi goes by Yuki now to hide his past. He's a romance novelist, and a very successful one too. His sister is Mika, who's is married to the Head of NGE, Seguichi Tohma. His brother is Tatsuha. Yuki is a bit cold-hearted, but that's only because he doesn't want anyone to know his past. He meets Shuichi and told him that he didn't like his lyrics. Shuichi Shindou is the singer of the band Bad Luck. He's best friends with Hiro, who is his guitarist. He is energetic, cheerful, and often stupid. However, he has a good heart, and follows it through, though he does get emotional.
