About Me

So, I made it to the second term of the PhD and, although am more used to graduate student life (i.e. guilt, endless amounts to study, more guilt...oh yeah, and biscuits), I'm swimming in bits of paper, unread books (of which the list grows by the hour) and a new-found obsession with youtube.
More excitingly, I've taken up with my old jamming buddy and guitarist/songwriter extraordinaire, to form an acoustic outfit called Dadu. Check us out at some open mic nights in 2007. Just to make my week go even faster, I've joined GEOIDS, which is, according to their publicity, one of London's foremost Amateur Operatic Societies. I chickened out of going for a lead role, so am in the ensemble. We're currently rehearsing for Calamity Jane ('whip crack away!') and the show opens on my 26th birthday in May. Take me back to the black hills...
