Das Augsburger Quintett „Unicova“ besteht aus vier Herren und einer Dame an den Drums. Die Band gibt es bereits seit 2001, damals allerdings noch mit Jiembe statt Schlagzeug und einem Stilmix zwischen deutschem HipHop, Jazz und Indirock. Erst seit 2003 lassen sie sich fest dem Indirock zuordnen.
Ihrem Debüt-Album “Nr 7†(2005) folgte im Januar 2008 die Ep “quietâ€, aufgenommen in den Echolotstudios in Augsburg in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Produzenten Alaska Winter (Anajo, Lydia Daher) .

the augsburg quintet "Unicova" consists of four guys and one lady at the drums. the band exists already since 2001, at that time, however, still with jiembe instead of percussion and a style mix between german hiphop, jazz and indirock. only since 2003 they can be firmly assigned to the indirock. their debut album "No. 7" (2005) followed the ep "quiet" in january 2008 , recorded and mixed at the echolotstudios in augsburg in cooperation with the producer Alaska Winter (Anajo, Lydia Daher).
