Lowrise "Do Do Dub"
..
Lowrise originated spring 2004 with three founding members. The heavily reggae influenced music has changed with every passing year. In the beginning both the Selftitled ep (2004) and Homegrown(2005) Debuted a sound of dub/reggae fueled rebellion anyone could relate to. The band has now gone back to the roots and found a more spiritual connection with themselves and the energy of the music.
You will find the new album To be more roots oriented and mixed with hip hop and ska flavor as any Lowrise fan would expect. The album is scheduled to be released summer 2008. This release promises to catapult the group into reggae stardom. As it has been said this is true "Dirty South style reggae".
