As part of Riddem Music/Riddem Records, I was part of a male vocal harmony group (JD&I). This opportunity allowed me to gain a great deal of studio experience and in directing vocal arrangements. An interest that has developed over time into a great passion is writing. I have experience in co-writing with L.E.T management and was lucky enough to co-write and record in Sweden with Base Camp production team as part of CENT Management/CENT Records (Popkomm).
I have also been involved in club promotion for events in Bristol at the Works nightclub, Club Loco and Creation. This required organising the night such as venue and drinks promotions and distributing flyers. I have also been taken part in talents shows at the Malcolm x centre in Bristol as part of my group.
I also have extensive stage and performance experience, performing at places such as Sound Republic,Germany popkomm,Colson hall (Comedy show, Blue mountain, Euphoria and alongside people such as Dru Hill at the colston hall. The experience I have gained as being part of a group will definitely help me in pursuing a career behind the scenes in the music industry.
During my time at university I have been involved in promoting nights both for the student union events and for the African and Caribbean society. I have also been involved in other talent competitions in the greater Manchester area and have worked alongside producers such as The Freekz (freekz entertainment), Rosewel (NX entertainment, Doug and Dave (2DB Music) in Wilmslow and lee Stanley of silk studios Manchester. As well as doing session work in the studio I have worked with various artists as a development coordinator, helping them steer their music and complete image into sellable products. I am also currently collaborating with a wide range of producers, writers and singers on tracks for other artists.
I have also worked as part of a management team who where looking after resident DJs and producers in Manchester, Bristol and London and throw this I made a large catalogue of contacts who I have been working very close with over the past few years. I am also currently looking after a variety of unsigned acts in and outside of the Bristol area, developing them to a stage which will gain them recording contracts. Im currently a street team manager for KISS 101.
