Sophieso is an original band with roots in the indie/rock/pop scenes. Our influences range from sixties rock to the current generation of guitar bands (see influences). We try to combine melody, excitement and emotion in our songs. Kathrin founded the band in 2003 and the band went through a development phase until the line-up felt right, in terms of musical and personal chemistry. We have spent the last three years writing, rehearsing and recording.
All four of us have played in various other bands with broadly similar influences, but somehow Sophieso is where all our ideas come together to create music that will make you scream, jump, and cry.

Sophieso hat seine Wurzeln in der Indie/Rock/Pop-Szene. Unsere Einflüsse reichen vom Rock der 60er bis zur heutigen Generation. Wir versuchen Melodie und Emotionen in unseren Songs zu vereinigen. 2003 durch Kathrin gegründet durchlief Sophieso eine Entwicklungsphase bis die Besetzung im musikalischen und menschlichen harmonierte. Die vergangenen drei Jahren wurde mit Songwriting, Proben und Aufnehmen verbracht.
Alle vier haben zuvor in verschiedenen Bands mit teilweise unterschiedlichen Einflüssen gespielt, aber irgendwie wurden durch Sophieso alle Ideen zusammen zu etwas speziellen!
