I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm a geek, and a guitarist (ok, let's say aspiring guitarist, finally able to chase that life-long dream). I'm a web designer, I'm a mom, I'm a student. I began my musical journey in 2003, and I study with jazz guitarist, Berklee alumnus Ron Peters, who is a total genius, and a good friend. These days I am studying music online through Berklee College of Music . It's totally awesome that this is possible, and I love it.

Those are my songs over there on the left. I composed them, (during my tenure as a music student at Edmonds Community College '06-'08) can you believe it? Me neither. Amazing.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Emily Remler but I guess that's asking too much.

My Blog

Survived Music Theory! Whew!

We started two years ago as a group of 62 hopeful students, excited to learn, but at the finish line, it came down to just 10 who managed to hang on until the very, very end. That was seriously tough...

Scales all day long - cool!

OK maybe it's completely boring to most people but I have decided that one of the wisest ways to become a great guitar player is to play scales as much as is humanly possible. All the time and all ove...

TTFN my Friend Tegers

David Keith Tegerdine passed away this week. Keith wasn't a movie star or a famous news guy, or anyone the world would identify as "important." If you Goooogle for him, you get nothing. If you do...

Rock Music as the Devil's Tool???? Huh?

So... I was talking to a friend of mine last night, someone I've known for years and years. Apparently someone he knows is seriously into the idea that rock music is the devil's tool to get his messag...
