Nimp P, a small town country boy with big dreams. He's so well known, let's just call him da Shady Oak mayor, a nickname after his neighborhood Shady Oak, where he grew up makin things happen for the hood. His music tell it all! He graduated from S'hill High in '92 and was voted most likely to succeed in his class. After high school he went to Northlake Comm. College, a JuCo in Irving, Tx. on baseball scholarship. 2 yrs there and back to Louisiana enrolling in Northwest Louisiana Tech College and recieved a Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology. While schooling he was involved in projects with Grindstein Ent. owned by Lemar"KiddFresh" Sain. and Big Jake at Full Swang Ent. out of Cotton Valley, La. With constant struggles paying for studio time Nimp P went back to school, got his Louisiana Electrical License and started Markray Electrics, his very own company. After 6 months of wiring he built his own studio called Shady Oak Records, named after his neighborhood. Nimp P established S.O.R. in 2000. Opened up for Lil Flip at the Springhill Civic Center in 2002 before he blew up! And released his 1st solo album in 2004 titled "I Won't Stop", which is plain and simple. He moved 4000 units out the trunk not including the Sam Goody's, and Mom and Pop stores in his area. Hollyhood Bay Bay(103.7 Da Beat) out of Shreveport, and opened up for Juvenile at Bay Bay's Triple Platinum Birthday Bash @ Club Platinum downtown S'Port, La. Nimp P also have 2 independent videos off the 1st. album. (I Won's Stop and Da Rain Keep Fallin) both aired on Phatt Traxx, a local video show outta Shreveport, La on channel WB45. He has also released 2 underground mixed cd's titled "Nitemare N Shady Oak vol.1&2. He also put out a documentary called "MY HOOD". Now he's back on the scene in 2006 and still independent with another brand new release titled "NON-STOP, which is also plain and simple. " I Gotta Make It Do Wat It Do, Baby!!!!
