saving the world, one 5150 at a time....i also enjoy watching BBC on a regular basis...as u can see :) if you've never seen the show on BBC called "Little Britain" you must see it! you will die laughing....and you thought "The Office" was funny...
Anyone who knows me already knows this answer....its Florence Nightengale, my hero...the very first nurse.... FUTURE NURSES OF AMERICA, UNITE!!! hehe like it's a superhero team or something :) umm yeah. hehehe...no really, i'd like to meet any star who tactfully and tastefully handles HOLLYWOOD (no not Tom Cruise...the freak)...but people like Drew Barrymore, Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller, WILL FARRELL & of course the awesomely talented Jim Carrey...i don't care if he's old school, he's hysterical...but mostly i'd like to meet them just so i could drill them about all the juicy gossip in HOLLYWOOD. Brangelina is pregnant? Felicity Huffman is a man? Britney and K-Fed's (haha, K-FED?) baby is running for Senator? Paris Hilton is moving to a convent to become a nun? (yah, the others are more likely than that...) i swear i'm not that shallow....in person :) i'd also like to meet Madonna and ask her what is up with her new British accent? Speaking of Britain, i'd absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE to meet Matt Lucas & David Williams, stars of comedy sketch show "Little Britain"...it's the best! :)
pretty much ALL classic rock...i love to get the LED out, love CCR, the Stones, Clapton, Crosby, Stills & Nash, etc. its my fav...but a guilty sin of mine is listening to the equivalent of 97.7 KWIN :) i know i know...but i can't help it...there's a little bit of TLC & Usher left in all of us, right? :) i'll always love the music of the Fugees, Lauren Hill, Bob Marley, Barrington Levy, the Gorillas, Del the Funky Homosapien...i love certain house music, oh and of course any hysterical thing sung by Adam Sandler...have you heard the most recent one, "I've got a secret?" you should if you haven't... :)
a GREAT movie is "Waiting"...see it if you haven't... "Look at the bat-wings, b*tch!" --"It's so vein-y!" :) also, i love SCARY MOVIE 2...Chris Elliott as "Hand-son"? with that little hand in the mashed potatoes?? ewww, GOD!! :) And the forever wonderful, Wayne's World... "your landing gear is down!!! YOUR LANDING GEAR IS DOWN!!" & "if benjamin, were an ice cream flavor, he'd be pralines....AND DICK..." kim (the Dancing Queen) and i love "Muriel's Wedding"...especially when the hot guy gets outta the pool. oh and i love the sister..."you're terrible, Muriel!" :) hehehe PORPOISE SPIT RULES! and don't forget Napoleon..."there are like, a buttload of gangs at this school. this one gang kept wanting me to join b/c i'm pretty good with a bow-staff." "you gotta come by my locker and get your stuff, because i can't fit my nunchuks in there..." or "Napoleon...don't be jealous that i've been chatting online with babes...all day." or the classic... "i'm glad you like your picture i drew you...it took me almost 2 hours to finish the shading on your upper lip..." i seriously cannot get over that movie...STILL!i also super-love Best In Show, Waiting For Guffman, and A Mighty Wind...if you haven't seen these movies, and have a dry, semi-hateful/dark sense of humor, these movies are for you. (yes, its suppose to be documentary-like...)
Antiques Roadshow is one of my guiltiest pleasures (just like kim watches anything on BBC...like Little Britain...hahah hilarious)...that and ETHIOPIAN IDOL. (don't laugh, they really have it...) & i really love the show "Distraction" where they have to like, pee a little in order to buzz in to answer the question...or they have a shock-collar on their neck and have to scream and get shocked to buzz in & answer the question...CLASSIC! and my life wouldn't be complete without Simpsons and the Family Guy (the drunken clam?!?!)... oh and maybe a little CSI :)and then some Big Love...
you mean other than nursing, pathophysiology, geriatric nursing, Psychiatric nursing, Maternal Child and pediatric nursing & NCLEX State Boards preparation books? well, maybe a little of "Angels and Demons" which is the prequal to "DaVinci Code" (which was a great book!).
Congratulations on your graduation, Adam! I love you with all my heart! :) (please excuse the cheesiness for a moment!)
