Tray Kearney, President/Talent Manager of
TNT Management. TNT Management is a full service talent management company designed to manage artists in the new digital world of music. I have committed myself to scouting out artists that I know have the potential, personality, and passion to create lasting music careers. My job is to unleash their full potential by giving them studio experience, knowledge on how to conduct themselves during television and radio interviews, vocal coaching and, most importantly, live performance skills and stage presence. My goal is to make these artists into full fledge ENTERTAINERS.

I have been a part of the music scene for as long as I can remember. My mother was a member of the 60s doo wop girl group, The Shirells. They sang Acapella songs with soulful harmonies, which is where I got my ear for music. In the 90’s I toured with Color Me Badd and through my relationship with my high school friend, Shakim Compere, interned in Queen Latifah’s office at Flavor Unit Entertainment. Under the guidance of Dedra Tate, I learned the ins and outs of the record business, doing whatever task was given to me to create opportunities for our artists. Their belief in my capabilities allowed me to create marketing plans and proposals for Flavor Unit, which ultimately lead the company to a distribution deal with EMI.

The new century lead to new and stronger entertainment relationships with most major record labels, DJ’s, recording artists, music channel executives, producers, press agents and tour managers. These connections were the reason that TNT Management was established.

Presently, with several great artists ready for release by TNT and my keen understanding of the evolution of the business of music, the TNT team decided that the next phase of our business is to launch an online digital label. (Please see our Talented Next MySpace page).
The stage is set for the summer launch of our digital label and the release of the long awaited Speechless Mixed Tape. Under the Talented Next Tour banner we will be auditioning new talent to be included in our summer showcase series highlighting the best in unsigned and independent artistry. Our programmers are hard at work writing the code that will make our digital community comprehensive and user friendly. We want the landscape of the new digital music industry to include all talented artists willing and able to make their voices heard.
