Born star, made superstar. Carrying a quarter of a million strong on his back, in his city (Rockford), or what they call ("THE ROC"), stands the infamous phenom; lyrical genius, who recites: " I see dead people; and they all green."BEEP..................Born Anthony Childress, on the first day of December, 1981. Snow covered "THE ROC" streets when BEEP was first introduced to this world. Sleet and ice, the kind of weather that demands you to -drive slowly-; kind of the way BEEP strategically makes his moves in life (slow, wise, and straight to the point.) Embarrassing competition on the court, from a point guard's position, playing basketball most of his life, BEEP was built to compete. Noticing his poetic ability in school, he decided to add his picture perfect poetry to strings, chords, drums and bass, and from then on was embraced as a lyrical genius. A force to be reckoned with.Making his first performing appearance at home in "THE ROC" at the Women’s Club, a venue of no more than a few hundred or so fans back in 96'. Then, one-half of a duo known as YOUNG PLAYAS, a part of a local independent label (THE 815 CLICK). For 3 years they traveled, conquering stages, opening up for artist such as: Too Short, Do Or Die, Crucial Conflict, The Snypaz and R&B Singer Rome. Even smelling millions, showcasing on the inside of major record companies in New York such as: Universal, Sony, Warner Bros., Jive and Select (to name a few).In 2001 BEEP began his solo career releasing his first album under another local label (PeyZay Ent.), located in Rockford. During 2002 Beep lived in the studio building his classic catalog and constantly performing. Invited to open up for "Nappy Roots" at the Kentucky Derby in 2002. After rumbling the downtown Louisville streets with his Midwest, energetic rushed "don't get too wet, from the sweat stage show, BEEP was asked to perform at the Kentucky Derby again in 2003 as well, which he did impressively.In February of 2004 during negotiations with another independent label (Mindright Records); BEEP ripped the stage, opening up for Murphy Lee and The Youngbloodz at the Rockford Metro Centre. By the Summer of 04' navigating to a broader entertainment area BEEP soaked his feet in St. Louis, recording, networking and performing, opening up for artist such as: Chingy, 8-Ball & MJG, DTP, Chamillionaire and Rick Ross, and has recorded songs for his upcoming sophomore album with Capitol Recording Artist Ebony Eyes.Now in 2006 as artist and part owner of Desperado Records (the independent label he heads with Antwon "MO$$BERG" Walker,), The mega-promotion has begun for BEEP's Sophomore album titled "Heart of a Millionaire", which is lead by the radio/club banger that the whole world recites, which simply makes the statement----"What it Do". The title of the first single off of his sophomore album.BEEP is built for star power and superstar status. Made for the television, magazines and cameras, and is a great role model for his, the next, and generations to come. BEEP definitely holds his own---A diamond in the rough that hasn’t been found, and definitely in a league of his own.
