"Specialty: Lyricist/Songwriter. Capps was born into a family influenced by music in Nashville, TN. By the age of 12 he began writing rhymes and this is when his love for hip hop truley began. It was at this age where Capps developed his tenacious work ethic and his lyrical skill, which can easily place him among some of the best lyricists of all time. Capps began rhyming professionally in the mid to late 90's with notable hip hop artists. In late 1996, he formed a group called "Round Table" and had his first studio session in early 1997 with Crow Records founded by long time friend Tek-9. In the late 90's Capps recorded his first album with his group "Round Table" and the "D.B.R. Group" but the album unfortunatly, was never released. However, in 2000 he was asked to proform in Haystak's promo-tour where he met the likes of Sean P. Diddy Combs, Bun B, Mean Green, Kool Ace, and Biz Markie. Later that year he launched his solo career and appeared on a complation album "TENNESSEE'S TIGHTEST" where a veritable who's who from the Nashville urban landscape; (Super producer Tim Hill, Haystak, Gangsta Blak, AWP, and the multi talented Shannon Sanders). Towards the end of 2002, unhappy with the direction of his career, Capps left his label and began working with R&B artist and long time friend, JC. (Who at the time was a recording artist with So So Def). Nevertheless, over the next 3 years, he would experience life altering events that caused him to exit the game for a season.
