Surreptitiously Yours, -Scott!

Some things just aren't worth thinking about.

About Me

I am Scott Brown, Mathematician extraordinaire and general handyman. I like to fix things, especially people.I think that the people from peta are adorable beyond all reason. Check out this banner: Isn't it cute?

My Interests

I like to read books. I also like people, and playing board games and doodling during class. Personal space is for losers. I love playing four hand piano, even though I can't play piano. I love to do things that I or anyone else wouldn't normally do.

Music:

I like lots of music. Suggestions welcome.

Movies:

I'm a sucker for sappy movies and really old cartoons and star wars. I also like ridiculous 80's and early 90's comedies like "Weekend at Bernie's" and "Captain Ron" and "Groundhog's Day"

Television:

Only under extreme circumstances.

Books:

Of all sorts. I like to read mysteries and comedies, thrillers, science fiction, non-fiction or whatever. I have been known to read textbooks for fun, and to peruse dictionaries for kicks (who doesn't?). Unfortunately, I can type faster than I can read, and I can't type very fast (around 50 wpm), making reading a 300 page book (= about 12 words per line * 40 lines per page * 300 pages = 144000 words at 60 wpm = 3600 wph gives 40 hours for a small book at even 2 hours a day is almost a month.)a demanding task at best; so my book queue is getting rather ridiculous. Lend me your books!

Heroes:

Robespierre
