I am smart and I admire myself for that. I am open to learning about new and different things as well as people. Sometimes think that I am too nice, so much that it is easy for me to be taken advantage of, but I have learned my lesson the hard way and am trying to be more careful. Being someone's doormat gets old after a while... but I still like to help people...it makes me feel good!

My Interests

Making people happy makes me happy! I think that everyone has something special about them. I always wanted to be a nurse but it didn't turn out that way. I was a Certified Nurses Assistant and then decided to go back to school to get a degree in Medical Administration. Upon doing my internship with the Developmentally Disabled, I decided that this was the place for me. Although, one day I will go work in a hospital. I am interested in "Real" people...

I'd like to meet:

All types of people from different backgrounds. People that are honest and good. I do not have time for users and liars. I want to meet people that I can trust and talk to. Would like to meet people that genuinely care about other people and their feelings... ..

Music:

Anything that I can understand the words to will work. I actually love certain music for the way it makes me feel. If a song can move me just by the melody or tune then it is a great song as far as I am concerned! Doesn't even matter the genre that it comes from. I just want it to make me feel something deep down in my soul....I want it to emotionally touch me...

Movies:

Scary, Romantic and Funny Movies (in that order!). Action can be good too!

Television:

Forensic Files and Medical Shows(on TLC). I want to watch shows that will teach me something...make my brain think...but mostly I listen to music. I like to watch the house makeover shows...If I could I would be a construction worker because I am good with my hands...

Books:

Not much time for books but when I do it would be a murder Mystery or Romance novel. (I have to find the romance somewhere). I also like any type of book that will teach me something - especially medical text books or self improvement books (we can all stand a little improvement now can't we)!

Heroes:

My hero is my childhood friend, Daniel, who recently passed away at the age of 35 after a battle with skin cancer. He was always there for all of his friends even when he was sick. He stayed strong until the end and I admire him for that. I will continue his cause of saving and rescuing the dolphins since he loved them so much........ I also admire people that put others needs and feelings before themselves..Now that's a real hero as far as I am concerned!!!
