UPDATE - Helloo everyone, unfortunately i am still at school and have to do all the exams aswell as working in the studio to complete the album, which is making the whole process drag on :( .... BUT there is some good news :) the 14 tracks for the album have all been laid down and just require finishing off before it's unleashed towards the end of summer. The record has a mix of all genres (reminiscent of my own musical tastes) and includes a cover of the Michelle Branch classic "Are You Happy Now" as well as the usual Becki Nash sound. I love love love the tracks and hope you guys do aswell.. so scroll down to preview the lyrics for the possible next single "Bernadette". Drop me a line and tell me what you think. MWAH X X
P.S check out the new pics added in my photos. x x
This independant 16 year old singer/songwriter from South Wales brings youth, energy and raw talent to the industry. She has already supported some of today's big name acts and is rapidly building a loyal following. Her first break came touring South Wales with groups such as Dragonheart and The Cheeky Girls, many nationwide shows followed. Becki has just recently completed a nationwide tour of the UK promoting her self penned single "Temporary Heartache". Her first single Temporary Heartache has been produced by the Manic Street Preachers producer Greg Haver, on the mixer which recorded Queen's-Bohemian Rhapsody. Her unique style has attracted an ever growing list of bands that want to work with her. Becki is currently working on a number of songs towards her debut album which she hopes to complete shortly.
Bernadette
Subtle turnings in the road
Break the back of what we know
Ample gossip made me realise
Theres more to disguise
She'll bite the dust once she's forced to run
She cannot be what i've become
Not going down without a fight you know
Not for that hoe
Don't you think i know you well enough by now?
Not to fall for all that bullshit pouring out your mouth
She wont ever come close to me
Not even low potential
If you ever learn to agree
Dont call me i need better
Some day you will feel regret
For throwing half your life away
Just one more pointer from me..
I'm not the one who changed........
