Where are your friends tonight?

About Me

OK, so this is the... third time I've done this section I think. Did the quiz thing first time around, but the answers go out of date after like, a day. Then I tried bulletpoint style sort of thing, but I just ended up trying to be funny and weird rather than actually telling people about myself (unless I am funny and weird? Hmm). So this time I'm going for a more traditional stream of consciousness sort of thing. Edited, obviously, otherwise it would make no sense at all. Read on if you're not already bored...So, my name's Elliot. Elliot McVeigh (which apparently when shouted sounds a little like "Arbeit Macht Frei" (y'know, The Libertines song), which is quite cool. It means I have a theme song of sorts, which is easier than writing my own). I'm 18, and I live in a village nobody's ever heard of - Rowde. Well, to be more accurate I live between Rowde and Devizes, which is slightly more well-known as it has a rockin' music scene, some shops and a pretty good school. This leads me neatly on to where I go to school - Devizes School 6th Form (I'm sure the sharper ones out there guessed that already). It's a pretty cool place, populated by even cooler people, many of which I'm proud to call my friends. Obviously I have some friends who don't go to this 6th Form, and they're equally cool.I have a few hobbies. Though, I don't like to call them hobbies as that implies collecting stamps or trainspotting, and I don't indulge in that level of geekery. Besides, there aren't any trains around here. I'm not suggesting I don't have a speck of geek in me, 'cos, well that's impossible. Anyway, I like to do a lot of things. Kinda hard to pick out what I do most, but I suppose listening to music is a good starting point. I adore music. Not all types of music, though I am pretty open-minded. Quite simply, I love the lifting feeling good music gives you. If I want to be a writer I should really describe it a bit more eloquently, but I just can't. I do like dancing too, though the quality of my dancing is questionable to say the least. Films are another pastime of mine. There really is nothing quite like sitting down to watch one of your favourite movies in a darkened room. It's that indescribable magic of the silver screen. Though, since I hope to study film at uni, I should probably learn to describe it somehow. I'll just sneak in here that I like to play videogames a fair bit too. Now I could start on my spiel on games as an art form, but I know I won't be taken seriously so I'll just stop here.Err.. what else do I like to do? Oh, take photos, quite often of sunsets and other picturesque wonders. I do enjoy a part-AY every so often, especially house parties. I love writing, when I can actually do it, 'cos it's bloody difficult.I've gone on for far, far too long, so I'm basically going to stop now. Well done if you've got this far. But seriously, how bored were you? All that remains to say is the usual. Add me if you like, but unless you already know me I'd rather you only add me with the intention of talking to me. Otherwise, deletion ahoy! That is all. Thanks for reading! Elliot --
