About Me

Born in Philadelphia, Pa. TJ moved to Baltimore,Md when she was twelve years old. She started out as a keyboard player,then moved to bass when she was seven years old. Moved on to some other instruments, but came back to bass shortly thereafter. TJ has had the pleasure of playing with some of the finest musicians on the planet. She's toured with Everton Blender of Jamaica, King Ajamu of Grenada, recorded with George Kuaokou and Serges Kassy of the Ivory Coast,backed Sar Amiel of Israel, along with local units including Tropical Heat Pan/Jazz Ensemble, Kalechi Reggae band,Okoyo Kakaya featuring Manue from Kenya, Unity Reggae Band,Iron Rhythm Reggae Band, Strykers Posse Reggae Band,Henry and the Reggae Rockers, Dread Society, Passion Reggae Band featuring King Ajamu, Storm Reggae Band, Positive Vibration, Proverbs Reggae Band, Ganjah Reggae Band, Rhythms Around the World( R.A.W) Creation Reggae Band, The Robin Armstrong Project,Perfect Timing Motown Band,Sound Stream Jazz Ensemble, Lavender Rain, Amor' Tropical, The Ernie Williams project,The Marsha Meekins project, The Lindwood Battle Band, The Marshall Booze Band,Clarissa, The Noise Patrol, Once Was, The Rob Reason Band, Inside Out, The Kim Glaude Project, Mama Jama, DK21 Featuring Dexter Keane of Trinidad and Tobago,Stephen Samuels of Trinidad and Tobago,Jackie Brown(Washington, Dc), Darryl Jones and the One Love band, The Iternals reggae band,Freddie Shabaka of Sierra Leone, and is currently the bassie for Concious Vibes featuring Miguel 'Andros' Aubertin hailing from St. Lucia, and for New Life Chapel Church. Additionally, she has worked as a hired musician out of several studios including Elysium Records, Pettaway Music,Cue Studios,and Lion Fox Studios. She is available for hire. She plays a variety of music. She has pro gear, transportation and a professional attitude.
