Band Members: O.M.I.S (Open Mind In Sound) is composed by Kleant, who is the one of the groupe who does it new school, Psykma is the one who give us the old school vibes, and me I am the guy who is mainly concerned with the melody and to bring in some new school style too.O.M.I.S (Open Mind In Sound)est compose de Kleant celui qui apporte son cote new school, Psykma qui apporte ce cöté old school, et moi meme Nado (je suis plutot melodieux et new school aussi)
Influences: My influences are very diverse and varied. It starts with the original African music (makossa etc...) to Celtic music; it passes by the big beat, and house. But my real favourites are pop and hip hop. The artists I appreciate a lot in pop music are U2, Alanis Morrisette, REM. For me Michael Jackson is the master of music. If I consider the electronic music, I really admire Williams Orbit (for his research of sounds), Mirwais, Prodigy ( those are king of big beat). If I pass on to RnB I like Rodney Jerkins and Rich Harrison, Terry Lewis. In Hip Hop New School, the greatest beat producers are for me, Timbaland, who is a real genius, Scott Storch, Just Blaze, Swizz Beatz. In the Old School area the one who makes it movin is DJ Premier. So far for the US, in France I have to say that I have a lot of respect for DJ Mehdi, who is the French genius, Animalson, who makes some real original music, and finally 20syl.Mes influences sont diverses et variees, ca va de la musique africaine (makossa etc..) a la musique celtique, en passant par le big beat, et la house. En France celui que je respect beaucoup, c'est DJ Mehdi (il est tres fort), Animalson (produit des beats tres originals), 20syl.
