I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm as simple as they come...I  enjoy learning & experiencing new things, breaking stereo types, and relearning my native traditions! If I can help others, I will. Life is about making new friends and keeping the old. Real freindships are a fierce thing. Here's a little 411 on me. I work @homedepot...urgggghhh! Paying my way through school. Prior to depot, many moons ago I've been a counselor & case manager for lower income kids with social-emotional problems, as well kids on probation. The most humbling and gratifying experience was working as a counselor with children with terminal illnesses. I also worked with chronically mentally ill homeless adults for a combination of just over 9 years.  I feel the call again to be of service, thus nursing school yo. I believe every person has a desitiny to fulfill.   -"BE AMAZING!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

My mother in her youngen years,at age 19, came to the states by herself from the rural highlands of Nayarit-Mex with no family or friends to build a new life for herself. To witness her strength, her incredible spirit and courage which she carries to this date. Any person who can teach me about our native peoples throughout the americas. Ralph Waldo Emerson- "The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile...it's the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone else blelieves in him & is willing to trust him with his friendship."              Me when I was a young stupid punk kid, a knuckle head from the projects, to tell myself  not to be afraid of life & beauty the world has to offer.  To have the courage to see beyond the concrete/asphault jungle. To learn humility. Perhaps to start my Native American spiritual journey sooner.
