About Me

Frist thing you notice about me if you come to my house, I have a lot of Cardinals. I collect them,and my collection grows every birthday and christmas. and no not just because I went to Santa Cruz High. and not because I got "most spirited" for senior personalities. I actually started collecting them before I went into Jr. High. I am short ,my hubby is 6 ft 7 ( I tease him that I married him for his height). We have 2 great and smart boys ages 10 and 8. and we've been married going on 15 yrs. ( this October). Bob is the stay at home parent due to an injury to his ankle. I was once a member of our local Rocky Horror Picture Show cast. we were called The Denton Affair.( we are even mentioned in one of Sal Piro's books).I used to play Magenta and also the Criminoligist. I have become aware with the passing of my dad in June of 2005, that he was a life long volunteer and that has rubbed of on my sister and I.How many 6th graders get sent into a mud slide area that is knee deep, to take pictures. My sister and I were in the youth emergency services with the Red Cross during the '82 storms and '83 slides. and we once again answered the call for the '89 Loma Prieta 7.1 earthquake. I am also a volunteer photographer for findagrave.com helping others find their past relatives. Helping others is something i hope both my boys learn about.another thing I almost didnt have my boys. in fact, if it werent for my hubby not letting me just go home from work one day, I wouldnt even be here today. i had an eptopic pregnancy ( meaning not in the correct place) it ruptured a tube and long story short had i gotten to the second hospital 15 min later than i did, i wouldnt be here today. talk about making every minute count!! It is my hopes to re-connect with friends from my past, for life is too short. Live like there's no tomorrow, laugh often and love freely ( ok not too freely) psst back in april 2001 I became an ordained minister too.

I finally got to meet Jim West and Jon Bermuda from Weird Al's band. ive waited 20 yrs to meet those 2. i'd like to meet Dr. Demento!!!the guys from the blue collar comedy tour, Jeff foxworthy, Bill Engvall Ron White and of course Larry the Cable Guy. Git-R-Done!!! Tim Curry (again) and although not listed first but still very important, friends I have lost contact with over the years.

denture update

so i went back on that monday which was my only day off that week.. they actually took away the first set i had ( which were too big anyways) and had me do a bite test. then said ok come back on...

ok as some of you know or may not know. back when i passed my driver's test and got a job, the very next day i also had a dentist appt. where they told me that i would have to have ALL my teeth pulled...
