About Me

My name is Heather, I am married to my best friend and the most wonderful and incredible man in the world. We got married on April 26, 2003 and have been so happy together. Marriage is truely one of God's greatest blessings. Jeremy is my rock and my hero, and a very godly man. I love him more than I can explain; God couldn't have provided me with a better man for me to spend the rest of my life with.
We now have 3 dogs, Slate, Emma and our new puppy Duke; three cats, Sugars, Cassie and Gibby; and 2 horses, Jupiter and Sir Prize. For those of you who've known me forever, it took 22 years, but I finally got my horses!
We go to Church of the Highlands which is an amazing church and God definitely has his hand in that place. Jeremy plays for the worship team there as the electric guitarist. Up until August of last year I worked for HealthSouth Corporation for nearly 3 years as the HR Assistant and for a few months before leaving as a PBX Operator. God provided an opportunity for me to take my passion and make a full time business out of it. I am now a full time photographer and have been keeping my beautiful goddaughter during the day. Which by the way is the most gorgeous little girl in the world! We love her so much. Her mother, Amy has been one of my closest and best friends since the 1st grade.
Anyway, I love my job. There's nothing better I can think of than having the chance to photograph life's little moments. Our primary work has been weddings, but since going full time we're now doing more and more of children, families, maternity etc. God has blessed us with so much and I give all the glory to him. Because of this business, we've been able to travel and photograph in places I didn't know I'd ever get to visit.
I love my life, my job, my family and my friends. God has blessed us with the greatest family and friends. Especially our friends. We couldn't ask for better or more godly people to grace our lives. Some of these friendships have just been made in the past year or so through our business and church or through mutual friends, others that have been around for a while or forever. But they all mean so much to me and Jeremy and we wouldn't trade a one of them! The time we've spent with these wonderful people, the trips we've taken and the laughs we've shared have provided us with a lifetime of memories already that we will cherish forever.

I'd like to meet:

I'd have to say that I'd most like to meet Jesus Christ. I can't wait to see him face to face and give him a huge hug. My life has been blessed beyond belief and I owe it all to him. I think for me it would be pretty cool to meet President Bush, Orlando Bloom, Drew Barrymore and whoever invented the camera (genius!); and new people in general.

Music:

I listen to a little of everything. Mostly I listen to Christian Alternative and Praise & Worship. Love some Lifehouse, Jeremy Camp and Casting Crowns. Other favs would be Goo Goo Dolls, Kelly Clarkson, Nickel Back, Faith Hill, Nick Lachey, Faith Remain and anything my husband Jeremy plays.

Movies:

My all-time favorite is "Ever After". I've seen it a thousand times and could watch it another thousand. My new favorite is "One Night with the King". I love "50 First Dates", "Passion of the Christ", "Shrek 1 & 2", "National Treasure", "Lord of the Rings", "Narnia", "Harry Potter", "The Patriot", "Pirates of the Carribean" movies, the "Spiderman" movies and "Superman Returns". Really too many to list all of them.

Television:

Smallville ROCKS! Love "Friends" so sad it went off the air. Corny as it may seem, I am a fan of "Saved by the Bell" and "Boy Meets World" reruns. Hey, I grew up on those shows. I love "Sienfield" and "Everybody Loves Raymond" reruns. "King of Queens", "American Idol", "Desperate Housewives", and "Passions". On occasion I like watching "American Chopper" and "American Hot Rod", but only if Jeremy is watching it to begin with. Love the Travel, Discovery and History Channels.

Books:

The best book I've ever read other than my Bible is "Redeeming Love" by Francine Rivers. It's definitely a must read and an incredible "page turner". "The Atonement Child", by the same author is really awesome too.
