I like looooooooads of films. In particular I love world cinema. So, here is a brief look at some of my favourite films from around the world...?? - JAPANDirector - ?? ?? Miike Takashi He's a master of extreme, exploitation cinema. He produces and directs looooooooads of films each year, too many actually because a lot end being rubbish. To respect a great director you need to notice his flaws and Takashi's is bringing out too many films each year. Out of all these films though there are some exceptional ones, a few of my favourites are listed below...??????? - Audition Dead or Alive ????Q - Visitor Q ???1 - Ichi the Killer ???????? - The Happiness of the Katakuris Gozu There are MANY, MANY more but these are the 1st to come to mind and my particular favourites.Director - ?? ? Kurosawa AkiraOne of Japan's most famous, influential and acclaimed film directors who had a very distinctive cinematic technique. A few of Kurosawa's trademarks being his camera work. He believed that placing the cameras far away from the actors hightened their performance. Using multiple cameras to shoot actions from a variation of angles was another of his trademarks. Oh, and a final one, he liked using weather elements to heighten mood and emotion (note- the fog used in Throne of Blood is a good example). A few of my favourite Kurosawa films are listed below...???? - Seven Samurai ???? - Throne of Blood ??? - Yojimbo ? - Ran
