I love to perform. All of my hobbies and job have been for this reason. I love the adrenaline rush of having to push through the anxiety of performing in front of a group; that is my reward. Money would be nice but I don't have any clue what I want to be when I grow up.
I love the after effect of having built something or fixed something. I hate the all of the steps leading up to building something or fixing something. I second guess myself way too much and will put off projects like these for months or even years. What seems to help is if I enlist the help of an elder to push me through that phase. Once started, we (the elder and I) do fine on the project.
I love God and my family. I try to base all decisions and actions on this foundation. Being a Dad is truly the most rewarding role that I have had to fill. And yes, there is often an adrenaline rush of having to push through the anxiety of performing this in front of a group.
