"I am determined to be cheerful and happy, in whatever situation I may be in for I have learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances." I try to be a good person, like I think we all do...but that may be me overestimating the goodness in the masses...I'm a lover of yoga and anything that makes your mind and body intuned with your soul...hopefully more surfing in the next couple of months :) I like to surround myself with people who make me smile, people who can teach me something(and vice versa) and people who know how silly I can be but still love me just the same. I seem to be changing every day, which in my opinion is a good thing. Little things can make me happy..even things you don't realize I've noticed..I'll think about that little smile, wink, or kiss on the cheek you gave me three weeks ago and I'll laugh in the middle of dinner, you'll ask me "what's so funny?"..and I'll say "nothing". I'm very accepting of peoples views and lifestyles and I've learned that our differences only make us more interesting! I've caught the traveling bug and there isn't a place in this world I want to miss! I'm not sure if the next 80 years of my life is enough time to do all those things I want to do....but I'll try to fit in as much as I can ;) I yearn for the times when I meet people and can feel their entire presence...when their spirit is so bright it humbles me. It makes me go home and smile...and tell people about this wonderful person I met for a matter of only a few minutes...yeah...those are the people I want to meet....People like that make me want to be a better person.These are the people that give light when you feel your life is in the dark. They are rare.....men, women, teachers, mothers, it could be anyone...but when you meet them, you'll know...and you'll feel completely filled up...and empty all at the same time...because you want to become more...simply because you met this person. I strive to one day be able to give someone else a little light in their life.I wish people were more humble...more open...more real....more honest...more giving...more lovey...less uptight..less malicious...less judgmental...less stereotypical...less materialistic...less realistic and more idealistic. If I call you a friend...it is because I love you and know the world is a better place because you are in it...I wish more people felt the same. I'm at a point in my life where anything could happen... I'm graduating college with no real plan....and as far as I know I could be gone tomorrow...So I'm just enjoying today...And if you've read all of this then I like you...you can read!..
