Equal Opportunity consists of Orchestra Records founder, recording artist, and producer Glad2mecha and MLA and Orchestra records recording artist Kers. The group formed as a side project in 2004 and shortly after its creation, it grew to be much larger than anyone expected. Within months of the group getting together, they had already done a small tour and began creating music with OMD member, Xololanxinxo. The group played nearly 30 shows in 2004 and completed their first album titled 'Shrinkrap". Before the album was released, the group decided to take a hiatus for 2 years. Now, they are back and stronger than ever. During their break, they completed their new solo projects. Glad2mecha released his third solo project, a heartfelt, concept album entitled "Uncommon Cures for Everyday Illness". Kers released his first project with his DJ and good friend, DJ Rotis, titled "Head Above Water". This project has done very well and is currently getting airtime in Germany and New Zealand, and has been reviewed well in the United States, France and Germany. Now that Equal Opportunity is back together, they are working on their sophomore project that is tentatively being titled "Growing Pains". This project is a third of the way done and already features production from the world famous Liferexall of the Shapeshifters, Lena Moon from Los Angeles, and Adru the Misfit of Nezbeats productions. This project is set to release in late 2008 to early 2009. Equal Opportunity is back and stronger than ever, what they have can never be broken! Be on the look out for more from Glad2mecha and Kers!
