traveling, hiking, reading, slacking, swimming, did i mention traveling? I went to New Zealand and Australia over a year ago ! it was awesome. I can't wait to be finished with residency and then get started traveling the world again.
I'd like to meet:
On Myspace:
all my old friends from Al-coa and Maryville. I miss you guys and gals! I love keeping in touch and catching up, but I'm very bad at it.In real life: Kenny Chesney, Dolly Parton, Bill Clinton, Tim McGraw, President Bush (just to be able to say I'd met him).
Music:
What girl from East Tennessee doesn't just LOVE Kenny Chesney!!?! Okay, there's lots of them, but i'm not one of them. I love Kenny. Maybe he'll marry me one day, whoops, hope Hugh doesn't read this.
80s pop, 90s alternative rock, hip hop
my ipod is filled with country though- i can't help it, and i love to drive all my doctor friends crazy with dolly, kenny, garth, shania, rascal flatts, brad paisley, and dierks bentley
Movies:
the princess bride, dirty dancing, pride and prejudice (the 5 episode BBC version is the only way to go), absolute power, friday, Finding Nemo!, the firm (go memphis!), the sound of music, all the harry potter movies, grease
Television:
Smallville!!! Days of Our Lives, ER, Real World, ( i know its awful!), will and grace
Books:
the amazing adventures of kavalier and clay (very excellent), before that i cried my eyes out reading the Kite Runner (another very excellent choice). I also recently read A Thousand Splendid Suns, by the same author. not as good as the kite runner, but i still loved it.Probably my #1 favorite book of all time is The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver. I think every Christian woman raised in the south should read it. It can be life changing.
i also love to read totally worthless books- like the sisterhood of the traveling pants, Harry Potter, DaVinci Code, etc.
Heroes:
My mom and dad and Mike.
