About Me

Myspace Layouts Lets see, where do I begin. Well, my name is Jonathan Friend and I am 21 years old. I enlisted in the Army when I was 17 and I left for basic training 5 days after I graduated from Preston High in Kingwood WV. I deployed to Iraq for my first tour in the summer of 2005, I left there in August of this 2006. I am now attempting to attend WVU and major in Criminology and Investigagtions. I hope to get a government job with the CIA, FBI, or some other administration. Haven't made up my mind yet. I am engaged to the most wonderful girl by the name of Amanda Rhodes. She decided to wait on me for 17 months till I return from over seas. I asked her to marry my in August of 2007 and things are great. Now I am in the process of buying a home, planning a wedding, and starting my life........

My Interests

As far as sports go, I enjoy playing golf and baseball. I like to go repelling and exploring caves. (Not the guided tour, but the unlighted stuff.) I also love doing stuff on water like jet skiing and inter tubing. Most of all, I love paint ball. Good stuff.

I'd like to meet:

I don't really have anyone I really want to meet. I like meeting new people and find out about them so i guess I would say anyone.

Music:

I like Rock, R&B and some metal. I love System of a Down and Sean Paul and Shaggy can put out some good stuff.

Movies:

Anything action, mystery and sci fi. My favorite all time movies though are the LOTR series, and the Star Wars sequels

Television:

The Sci Fi channel is the best. I also got hooked on smallville. I mean, I loved superman as a kid and I have the big red S on my shoulder. (It was a something me and my buddies did when we deployed) Also, the Simpsons are timeless....

Books:

Mystry books are great to read. My favorite author though are Steven King, and J. R. Tolkien.

Heroes:

Fiction characters would be SUPERMAN. As far as real heroes, I have a few friends I consider heroes, but I can't put that out.
