I drive about 100,000 miles a year in my big truck but only about 5,000 miles a year in my car.The beauty of this job is in the eye of the beholder...I think I have a better office view than any corporate executive in the country. Eat your heart out Donald Trump!Being a mover is great because I get to meet all kinds of people in their most personal environment, their homes. And it's no small challenge to keep people calm and happy when you are responsible for everything they own and when they are going through probably three of the most stressful events life has to offer, namely changing jobs, buying a house, and of course MOVING!I'm good at it and I really enjoy helping people. It feels great when their moves are complete and they are happy to have gotten through it all in great shape.And of course, I have moved all types of people like top politicians, professional athletes, hollywood and music personalities, the highest of corporate executives, as well as people like you and me. Cool job huh?When I get some time off, I've loved surfing out in California, but my boards are all in NJ now! I used to play golf competitively and I've recently just started playing more again.Time seems as important to me as any money I make so I try to spend my time wisely. I try to spend as much time with my family as I can. And of course, I think everyone should try to take the time to enjoy the beauty of the moment whenever you can. When things are rough, I get a great calm from appreciating what is good rather than stressing on what isn't.
