I am an explorer. I like to sometimes throw away the map and get lost for a while. I like going on drives and I like hanging out with friends. I love learning new shit and meeting new people.. I love photography- especially black and white and love being in the darkroom, hands in chemicals. I enjoy debates and learning and am always looking for a good book (although Grenita is pretty sure I don't know how to read since I have been too busy lately to sit down and enjoy the amazing books I have). I love having a glass of wine (or a good beer) and cooking. Watching good films- mainly documentaries, independent and foreign. I love the sound of rain. I love being outdoors and I miss going camping. Laughter is the best medicine.
People that make me think. People that can not only talk, but listen too. People from my past I have lost touch with. Liberal people. People in Austin.
I love lots of it and often. I love live music and chicks playing the guitar is rarely a bad thing. Along with Natalie Merchant, Ani DiFranco, Melissa Etheridge, Tori, Melissa Ferrick, Tegan and Sarah, The Postal Service, Tracy Chapman, Sting, Ruthie Foster, Shakira, Jenny Lewis and some classical to mellow me out. I like music with a twist and I love live shows, especially festivals (thank you Austin). Fear Mia and the music of Rent. Don't forget Elton John and Prince. Newest band: meneja beto and German artist Xavier Zaidoo
Dead Poets Society, Broke Back Mountain, Maria full of Grace, Born into Brothels, Motorycyle Diaries Frida and other independent films. I am always up for suggestions in this area but usually am not a fan of sci-fi. So many movies with so many stunning people to look at. I don't have an absolute favorite movie though, I like checking new things out.
The L Word - but I don't have showtime anymore so I have to wait till it comes out on DVD. The West Wing is good too but I try and stay away from too much TV. It makes my brain feel fuzzy. I am a regular of Grey's.
For the past year I read LSAT books and lots of them: LSAT lesson book, LSAT Endurance Practice, LSAT workbook, LSAT Mastery Practice and LSAT Pacing practice. Now after a short break though to read the Celestine Prophecy I am working on my Law School Summer reading list.Other than that I LOVE BOOKS and most of the time having a hard time choosing what one to read next. Lately... I have read amazing books as usual, including Middlesex, The Sex Lives of Cannibles, The Kite Runner, Reading Lolita in Tehran.
Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, poeple that follow their dreams and help others and speak their mind. "Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds..." -Albert Einstein.
