Taylor Mills: Lullagoodbye
I first heard Taylor in the mix of Brian Wilson's band as a backup singer (not a bad gig!) Then I heard her sweeten the air at a concert a few years ago. "Taylor, you gotta get an album out," I said. She was already working on it. Now it is here, and bless my ears.
If you like sweet female vocals you must hear Taylor Mills. Don't be surprised if you hear more about her in the future, now that her music is out of the bag. My favorite cuts are "Center of Your Heart" and "Hello Sun." Both are good single choices and sure to grab ya.
I am the co-owner and creative director for SideBMusic, an independent music company, along with my partner, Jerry Boyd. Our purpose is to help independent recording artists with the design, manufacturing, promotion and distribution of their music. We are looking for finished albums on compact discs that are ready for marketing and distribution. For more info for becoming a SideBMusic artist visit SideBMusic.com
Be sure to visit Jerry Boyd's MySpace page. Lots more info there.

"It's all about imagination, nothing else is important. It's not about scale - big, small, independent, alternative, anything. Whether you earn a million dollars or lose a million dollars. None of it really matters. What matters is the work and the imagination of the work."
Bono
"...I really wasn't much of a fan of Mozart when I was growing up--it was just over my head, you know? But I play him every day now. I'm a late bloomer!"
Keith Richards (Rolling Stone Magazine, May 3-17, 2007)
"One of Rick's [Rubin] favorite phrases is 'metaphor deficient'... If people write [song lyrics] that are metaphor deficient, even he can't help them."
Chris Rock (TIME Magazine, February 19, 2007)

Blog: Im a little dumber than I was

While I am still working on the acceptance of being more forgetful as I get older -- What was I going to say? Oh, yeah -- I was unprepared for losing some of the accumulated wisdom from all the years ...
