I was born in Providence, RI, biggest little state in the Union. I've always had an undying love for music, even at a young age, entertaining anyone in earshot. Throughout my childhood I went through some rough times, as do many of us, that is when I found a true appreciation for music as a source of comfort. It was also a healthy way to channel my pent up emotions through the power of song. I apparently was unaware of my gift until some of my friends noticed my voice and entered me in a number of talent shows. I would never have considered entertaining for a profession. After high school I enlisted in the United States Air Force. I continued to sing every chance I got. Winning talent shows and even doing a play. When my career in the Air Force was through I moved to Lafayette, IN. I really started to focus more on my gift, but I had lots of work to do. Thanks to the love and support of my family and friends, I found my nitch. I've been in numerous contest: * Colgate Country Showdown * True Value Country Showdown And a National Karaoke Contest in which I won Best Female Performer, in Las Vegas....... I do not focus on contests alone. I have a deep appreciation for charities and other special events. I have performed for the National Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Woman's Professional Football Games, and Military functions. I've performed the National Anthem for Golden Glove Boxing Matches. I also have entertained at numerous weddings. I moved to Nashville to realize my dream and I was fortunate enough to make a great CD with the most wonderful, helpful and personable people at KMA Records.
