I am interested in all animals. I am particularly fond of reptiles and amphibians. I have a specialized interest in varanids. I have had a recently growing interest in insects , particularly beetles, and arachnids. I also like dogs, and I would love to someday learn a bit about horses.
I am also interested in psychology and biology. I have an interest (and degree) in philosophy but it has been some time since I pursued this interest. Foreign languages fascinate me and history intrigues me.Finally, a generalized list of other interests would include: aviation, travel, exercise, hiking, camping, fishing, dragons, chess, bowling, and a great many other interests that escape recall at the moment. I also like to add to my interests as new topics become appealing to me.
I would like to meet a few people with whom to chat about common interests. I would also like to find a few chess players. It has been far too long since I last played. Ultimately, I would like to meet a few local people with whom to hang out, preferrably people willing to go see an occasional movie or go bowling. Bowling is another activity that has been absent far too long in my life. I should mention that although I listen to heavy metal, I do not seem to get along with too many other metal people. I am not sure why, but it is funny. I am actually eclectic in my music preferences and can listen to anything and everything, although you have to search my CD collection pretty thoroughly to realize that ability.
I listen to metal quite often. However, I am truly eclectic and can listen and enjoy almost anything when in the right mood. I have even been to a U2 concert, back in 1995 or so. lol
I like monster movies. I also like scary movies, preferrably if they have monsters in them. I also like a great many cartoons and "children's" movies.
The Simpsons and The Family Guy
Cannery Row, The Red Pony, The Wayward Bus and anything else by Steinbeck. I also read school books for class. I love Fantasy books, and I miss having time to read The Wheel of Time Saga (I'm at least 2 books behind now... oh to be young and have no responsibilities again).
My mom. She taught me the meaning of dedication, determination, and love.
