The Small-Town Band is a one-man swing, punk, ska band consisting of me, Shane Worley. I started playing drums when I was 7, that was 22 years ago. After playing virtually every style of music, classic rock, 80's hair bands, John Mellencamp (that's ALL I played when I was like 13), heavy metal like Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, the whole grunge thing, the nu-metal thing, and on & on & on. That whole time, I listened to punk, until that was all that I listened to. That led to a love for ska, and that led to swing and jazz. I started writing my own songs about 5 years ago. I write and perform all parts, and record them in my studio. I am currently working with The Everyday Losers with plans to join our music together under a new name.
