I am here for Friends

About Me

Originally from Minneapolis, Mankato has been my home for the past 6 years, and I have been involved in bands and running a venue called the What's Up Lounge for a while, which has been a blast, being that I've had the chance to work with bands like Motion City Soundtrack, Fallout Boy, etc. Since I've somewhat paid my dues in the music industry, I'm trying to move into more of an "advisor" role to the venue & help students run the venue to get their feet wet in that ever-so-tough music industry.I've also played drums in bands called as Burning Both Ends and Almost There which have gotten to play at countless venues around the country with national artists, but now I just play at my church (to mix things up a little). Just recently, I've started playing drums in a live hip-hop band "Collabo," which rocks hard core. In addition, I just joined Revilwen (see my top friends!)If you are interested in somewhat useless sports information, I am a good resource for that (did you know Kirby Puckett had 199 hits in 1985? or how about the fact that Sam Crawford holds the single-season record for triples in a season with 39?--I bet none of the current, steroid-using sluggers today will ever top that one!). I'm big into skiing, working out, going to local/national music shows. If for some reason you hang out with me, you might end up developing quirks like the "six-shooters" or learning phrases like "hit that crap like Marty McSorley" or "Smokey-mc-smoke-alot." For those who have limited time, "Smokey-smokerson."In reality, after it is all said and done, I have finance and accounting degrees from Mankato State, actually enjoy doing taxes (it is good to enjoy what you do, but it is also good to earn a living...) Quote Tony Ticknor "Ryan, you are as fun as an accountant can be." I think that was a complement.Tim Hardaway used to be good......
