My name is Mattie Jackson and I am a new person. I am 19 years old. During the past couple of years, I have been growing into a better person and I am still working on myself today. I'm finally getting back in touch with the lord and learning how to pray because I honestly forgot. Bad Mattie! But I am still the crazy and retarded Mattie that everyone knew. I'm just a growing, willing to learn crazy and retarded Mattie. My mind is set to be prepared for any obstacles that may... excuse me, WILL come my way. Because if there's anything I understand, it's that life, just like people, is not perfect. Things will happen. There will be some kind of force trying to hold you back from doing the things that you are trying to accomplish in life. So it just starts to throw all kinds of problems at you, and those problems hit you in the head. So you let those problems take over you. Now you're weak, because you're worrying so much about these problems and you're letting them stress you out. Now you've forgotten about your goals or you just put it to the side. Oh yeah, that force held you back big time. Now if your mind is strong enough, oh it will definitely not let those problems take over you. Your mind will turn it into a learning experience and motivation. But your mind will not do it on its own. You have to exercise it so it can become strong enough to do those things. And that's what I'm doing. The first step to that routine is to turn all negative thoughts into positive thoughts. If you watch family guy as much as I do or have, then im sure you saw the episode when Stewie went to San Fransisco to find his real father who was actually just "him" from the future. And they both went to the future and later his house burned down and Stewie told him to just think of things that made him happy. Well when things get you down, think happy thoughts. It may be kinda hard to do, but its really only as hard as you make it. Trust me, I know.
