Standing on the corner of 25 and Strange

About Me

How does one describe the complexities of their persona? I'm passionate about music, travel, cooking, relationships and life in general. I am a hoot to be around most of the time. I like spending time around people, but my "me" time is equally important. I feel fortunate to be where I am in life right now, working in the travel industry, and promoting dance music at a local bar(W Lounge). Unfortunately Salt Lake City isn't the hippest of places, but we make due.

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !

"He's Just Not that Into You" along with other books that tell my why love just hasn't struck me lately. "She's Come Undone" by Wally Lamb is a forever favorite. "Third Person Plural" was an all around good read as was "Reviving Ophelia". "Things Fall Apart" Chinua Achebe. Half the time I can't keep book titles and the authors straight.. that's cool though, I always remember the stories.

Heroes:

My father has been my biggest hero throughout my life. Growing up as a fire fighter's daughter taught me a lot about courage, and compassion for others in intense situations. Other keys to living that I have gained through knowing my father is that life is short, and there is no need to waste away thinking, and not doing anything about it. If only I could master that one...

The Up-And-Coming

So, I've been on hiatus for a while now.. Trying to get my priorities straight, and back in shape. I must say, it's ever-so-nice to take a break from life at times, and it's ever-so-boring. Over the l...

Stagnant

I'm beginning to feel stagnant. As though I've mastered all that I can that is available for me to master in my life right now. I'm sure that this is a false sense of complacency, perhaps th...
