Life's Hallmark What can I say about myself . . . At this point in my life, I'm doing one of the most challenging things I've ever decided to do. I recently became a single parent through adoption (Finalized adoption June 13,2006). My daughter is now 12 years old. A friend of mine once said the way God brought my daughter into my life was like a Hallmark movie. It has been challenging at times, but so rewarding to already see the way God is changing her life. If I had any part in the changes He has made in her life so far, it is by His grace and the strength He gives me. I can't wait to see what kind of person He will mold her into as she grows. As far as me on a personal level . . . My whole life is dedicated to God and what He wants to use me to do. In the past, I was very involved with youth ministry at my church, but had to step back for a season and put all my energy into being a "mom" to the little girl He has brought into my life. As she matures, I hope to re-enter the youth ministry, with her along side me, learning and growing and ministering, too.
