Remember, harmony is never achieved when everyone is singing the same note

About Me

I love live music and being with people! Nothing is better than a good party with friends. You just have to make sure you (and your friends) know their limits - nothing ruins a good time quicker than an ass!
Meet me on Bert's Big Deck at Hair of the Dog!

I also have a newfound interest in the outdoors. I can't get enough hiking, caving, rock climbing, rafting, etc. It has been a helluva summer and I can't wait to see what fall holds in store!..

My Interests

No politics. No finger-pointing. No pie-in-the-sky. No Bullshit. It's time to stop whining, and start doing something about it. Here is a real plan that we can make happen. NOW! (this is a safe link)

I'd like to meet:

Constantly on the lookout for interesting new bands. Love to discover and listen to new acts, especially live. If you know of a band or entertainer that I might like and is not on my friends list, please feel free to share.

Anyone in TAG that wants to cave, hike, rock climb, raft, etc. I am having a great time exploring the great outdoors! And the more the merrier!

And now, for something completely different, but terribly important......
..

Music:

Music is like a drug! Son Volt, DMB, Foo Fighters, Angie Aparo. Clapton is a classic. I grew up in the '70's, so Led Zep, Pink Floyd, and late Beatles are all classics. While I like popular music, I also love scoping new, local, indie bands! Lately, I have found Nine Point Landing, the Adam Crossley Band, Lorien, Blue 4 Pie, bulb, Tara Holloway, Chad McCann, and The Icons. They are all truly excellent and deserve more recognition!
Check my "Friends" list - there are some links to bands that I like - kinda like a seal of approval!!!!
(PS - go out and support local music, local business, and tip your waiter/waitress exhorbitantly! - if you can afford to sit around all day surfing the internet, you can afford to share your good fortune!)

Movies:

The latest thriller, horror, or action flick. I don't watch as many as I used to, but I still love a good movie - who doesn't???

Television:

While I have always felt that TV was the bane of society, I have spent most of my life hopelessly addicted to it. I have recently broken away from its grasp, however. Let's see how long I can go video-free!

Books:

Books are my favorite things to read. Well, and magazines - I like to read magazines too. And bathroom walls.....books, magazines, and bathroom walls are the things I like to read the most! And e-mail - books, magazines, bathroom walls, and e-mails! Those are really my favorite things to read! REALLY! Go ahead and write one and see if I don't read it! I dare you!

Heroes:

New Adventures!
