About Me

So I'm engaged to Tracy Vore. Soon to be Tracy Holmes. That's the best news I have. She's the best thing that has happened to me. She came into my pathetic excuse for a life, broken and scattered. She filled in those parts (mostly with her good cookin ;) lol). If you'd ask me, I'd tell you that love isn't so much about having a goal and then arriving at your destination as quick as possible to set another one. It's about the journey of trial and error that it took to get there 'together'. If it weren't for the journey the goal would be a disappointment or unfruitful. Probably the best example would be like having a candy bar instantly appear in your stomach instead of chewing that satisfying goodness for as long as your taste buds can endure. I'm a Christian striving to be better everyday. My name is Joe and I'm a drummer in the Christian rock band Awaken. I have made many mistakes in my life and I don't pretend to be something I'm not. I'm a sinner who is striving to live a life worthy of the blessings God has given me. I'd be lost if we didn't have such a Merciful, Loving God... I ask for forgiveness everyday... But, when I'm doing something I love to do, I do it with all my heart . I like being out doors. I like to be random and do stupid things you don't do everyday... I'm not afraid how who I am or what I'm all about. I love computers and always will... I like working out. It helps me think and calms my nerves. I'm spontaneous and fun, yet relaxed and enjoyable. If I don't agree with something, I stand firm and announce what I have to say, which is why I try to think carefully about what that might be. I just have a willingness to satisfy. I'm direct and honest and it is the only way to be in this world. I tend to go my own way, I don't like to follow the others. Most go with the general crowd, while I do my best to make my own path and follow it with the determination of a man on a mission. With Jesus Christ, nothing can stop me.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet anybody that loves God! I'm very interested in talking to people that might need guidance when it comes to understanding being a Christian. I'm not saying I have the answers, but I'd like to try. I'd also like to meet anybody who's got their feet on the ground and knows what they're all about. James 1:26 got me to stop cussing and talking dirty a long time ago.. I had too much invested in my faith for it to be worthless on account of the actions of what I said. James 2:26 made me think twice about my actions and not only those, but my lack of actions.
