Greetings, my name is Jonathan and you could say that I am a very "strange" or you could say, "interesting" individual. I love many things of many cultures, music, clothes, languages, and arts. Some of these cultures include Chinese, Japanese, Korean,Tibetan, and native american cultures, Inca(Quechua),Aymara,Araucan,Azteca(Mexica), Maya, Zapotec, Mochica, Nazca,Chimu and others. My most favorate though are the Andean Cultures, such as the Quechuas of Peru, and the Aymaras of Bolivia. I listen to constantly the music of these native indigenous people of south america.I play the quena (kena---a 7 hole flute) and zampona(samponya----south american panflute---also called "siku" in the native languages quechua and aymara) These are some of the most important indigenous wind instruments of the Andean region. I am proud to play them and proud to share the great ancient Andean culture with you.I absolutly love central asian throat singing called Khoomei from Mongolia and Tuva. I have been learning this ancient beautiful art and hope to become a master someday.I love music from the middle ages and rennaissance period. To this end, i play the recorder which is a beautiful instrument that recieves less respect than it rightly deserves.Remember Everyone, Ama Suwa, Ama Quella, Ama Llulla, Ama Map'a! (Do not steal, Do not be lazy, Do not lie, Do not be dirty!)These are the sacred laws of the Andes to live a good life =) ..
