For those that don't know me, my name is Sam Ballard. I've lived in Chesapeake, VA for 7 or 8 years now, but before that i grew up in a small town called Chambersburg in PA, and then spent about 2 years in Norfolk before moving here. I'm a gamer and have been since I was about 4 years old, and have played and enjoyed just about every game system since Super NES and Game Boy were new. I would rather waste the day away with a good video game than do anything else. I'm fairly skilled with computers as well. I built my first computer when i was 15 and have been building/repairing computers as a side job ever since, not to mention served as an assistant network admin for 2 years for CommSol. I also have a love for music, particularly of the Metal genre. I'm personally a big fan of Alt Metal, Death Metal, Metalcore, Hardcore, Thrash, and Grindcore. However, I'm also into electronic music, including electronica, drum & bass, and industrial. I've been playing guitar since i was 16 and love to learn/write songs. On a side note, i also know how to play bass and keyboard fairly well, and have been wanting to learn and experimenting with drums and sampling. I tend to have a weakness for food, and very rarely turn down the opportunity to eat, especially if its a dairy product...I <3 cheese. Aside from all that, I'm a fairly normal, laid back, easy to get along with guy. I love all my friends (as dysfunctional as some of them can be at times) and would gladly give them the shirt off my back if they needed it (not that i could imagine they would). In either case, I'm always looking for more friends so if your not already my friend...you should be! =D
