Get Your Own! | View SlideshowWatching live music - especially local jam nights, playing my guitar which is what i do most of the time (but not in front of people - a few confidence issues here i think!!) and my horses, i love my horses, even though they spend almost my entire wage for me every month.I live with my 2 cats in a village in West Yorkshire where everybody knows everybody else and everybody elses business. My local watering hole is directly opposite my living room window, from my kitchen i look over my horses in the field and my work is is a five minute walk up the same street as i live. Even the shop is only next door! Very convenient but not a very exciting way of life !! I have been single for erm......... about 5 years now and I'm not too sure I would change that at the moment!! About 99.9% of the men i have ever been involved with have either been pyschopaths, cheats, stalkers or all round lunatics so I've kinda given up for now! Music has always been a very big part of my life. My Grandfather was an Opera singer and my Grandmother owned her own pub, where she sang and played piano on stage every night. She's a very old lady now in a home, spending most of her time extremely confused. Nearly every night she's adament she needs to get to get downstairs into her pub (??!!) because she has a gig to do! My Mother is also a singer & music teacher. My Father started playing guitar when he was about 5 years old & my Nan used to tell me he practiced so hard his fingers would bleed. He was only 8 years old when he became lead guitarist of his first band 'The Little People'. My Mother & Father met when they were 16 and became part of the same band 'Joe Public' along with 2 of my Uncles as Lead Singer and bass player. Some of my earliest memories are sitting in smokey Working Mens clubs and looking up at my Father on stage thinking he was a superstar. I wanted every single person in that room to know he was my Dad. Other early memories include camping holidays, songs around the camp fire, large, funny smelling cigarettes and lots and lots of laughing ha ha!! Brilliant memories!!!!
