Hey!It's all the fault of the girls at work! They made me do it! I'm way to old for this stuff but while I'm here......here's what's up!I've been divorced about 2 years now and looking forward to the future. I have 2 great kids that are both in college, own my home have an ok job with some perks, have a great family and extended family and I love to travel. I am a Christian and try to live that life. I have a dog (maxie) and a cat.....does it matter if she has a name?

My Interests

I love to travel! I like to cook new things, try new foods, do things with my friends/family (go to the movies, out for coffee, hike, walk, shop, play cards, board games, and many other things), garden, participate in church activities, hang out with my dog/kids, listen to music (mostly country and christian) and take care of the house.

I'd like to meet:

Rather than saying that I'd like to meet someone, I'd like to have experienced life during some of the eras of history ie: the stone age, the mid-evil period and the pioneer days. Let's make it an adventure!

Music:

I like most kinds of music. No rap please! Country and contemporary Christian are my most favorite but I'll listen to almost anything. I like the oldies too! Lots of fond memories....

Movies:

I like lots of different movies. Lots of action, love stories, went to Italy in Oct. so Under the Tuscan Sun was the best. I like drama/comedy/ too!

Television:

I like My Name is Earl and this season have really enjoyed Heros! Rainy Sunday afternoons are a fine time to watch golf.

Books:

I LOVE to read but haven't read much this past year. I read the Purpose Driven Life and loved it and on the flip side, one of Janet Evanavich's books. I like the author David Baldacci and espionage kind of books. When I drove to Florida a few weeks ago, I listened to a Nicholas Sparks book, A Bend in the Road. It was good!

Heroes:

My grandmother. She had 7 kids, 23 of us grandkids, and every soul on Earth was welcomed into her home. She was a fabulous cook and loved her family beyond words. She and my grandfather were married for 66 years before he died. She was awesome!
