i'm studying to be a high school english teacher. in the meantime, i work at a special ed high school for kids with emotional/behavioral disorders (federal setting IV). that means, in part, that i get paid to ride the short bus. my hope is to maybe go on and get my masters either in literature, creative writing, or something related to race and education. i've noticed that not too many people give two shits about that last one, so maybe i should?i like to ride bikes with one gear. recently, in addition to my fixed gear road bike, i've acquired a singlespeed mountain bike, which i would be learning to master if i didn't drink everytime i got on it.also, see that lady down there in my top eight named melissa? she's my wife and i love her. if you want you can even read a riveting myspace blog entry about our lives. we might be stars, but we're just like you.
