Composer and Pianist

Bruce W. Tippette is currently a student at Appalachian State University where he is working toward a bachelor's degree in music education and music theory/composition. His primary instrument is the piano, but he also enjoys playing the French horn and various percussion instruments. He is a North Carolina Teaching Fellow and plans to teach high school instrumental music after he graduates. He plans to earn a masters and doctorate for Music Theory/Composition and teach at the University level.
Mr. Tippette currently lives in Boone, North Carolina writing many different levels of music for a wide variety of instrumentation. Many of his pieces are performed by musicians at the Mariam Cannon Hayes School of Music. He continues to compose any chance he has and is excited to be an author for Alfred Publishing.
