Love You all, Leslie
At the age of four, I remember running to the stage where a woman on the stage was singing. My mom came running after me asking me where I was going.
I just stood there pointing to the stage. "I want to be up there," I told her.
I knew at a very early age that music would be part of my life. As I grew up, I developed a great passing for singing. I have been recording songs for over a decade with six projects completed.
I am VERY excited about my most recent album, Dear Diary
. Come visit www.leslieserrano.com to learn more about my musical journey, where I am today and what I have in store for the future.

Lets Drink About It
Was born one night when my little cousin (Jacke) had a fight with her boyfriend and I had no other words besides"LDAI" so we went out to my favorite bar. She and I always know how to drown our sorrows. Throughout the song you can follow our evening. From calling her boyfrien to meeteing the tall and dark stranger (now my fiancee). We met an array of friends that night who helped us get over that man and I found the love of my life.
Dear Diary
Ever since I was 11 years old, I have written in a diary. At the end of the day, I would tell it everyone of my secrets and thoughts. Now being a grown woman, I still tell my diary my thoughts. I moved to Hollywood, CA a little over a year ago. Far from home and clearing my mind from a broken heart I begin writing in my diary and started, as always "Dear Diary." Suddenly the lyrics took form. And in a matter of minutes, the words became one of my favorite songs.
Kiss His Ass Goodby
Well, well well... Hanging up the phone and not very happy with the man of the hour, I stormed over to begin pouring out my frustrations. This chorus is a lot of fun. It sums up what most women think when their man has done'em wrong. Its not a man bashing song as all. Just great advice for all the ladies out there. Ladies, enjoy. Men we still love ya.
BABY BLUE COLLAR MAN
The melody came to me driving in Arkansas. I have a great appreciation for men that work hard. There are so many people who simply live on love and i think that is beautiful. This is for all of those women who love their hard working man.

Influences: I have grown up enjoying ALL kinds of music.

At my youngest, I can remember loving to sing with Patsy Cline, Sandy Patty and Reba McEntire.

Later, I discovered Celine Dion and became a HUGE fan of her vocal ability and most of all, her beautiful love songs.

I love just about every country singer out there, but Shania Twain and Faith Hill are at the top of the list (of course!)

A country girl at heart? Me?

YES!

But I DO love to change things up. I'm a huge fan of other bands like Aerosmith, Kid Rock, Billy Joel, Maroon 5 and Shakira to name a few. I love the impact that singing the blues gives me as well. So I can't leave out Etta James, The Temptations, Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles. I also have a love for classic rock like Kansas, The Greatful Dead, U2 and even a little Ozzy.

I believe, at one time or another, everything I have heard has influenced my love of music.

Oh, and I can't forget my mom! She has an AMAZING voice too.
Sounds Like: GREAT SLAMMING COUNTRY MUSIC!
