Starting in late 2006, Defiant from Bolton UK gained a great following amongst college crowds, gigging and writing through to 08 when work began on their new self titled EP. Finishing the line-up with session player Tom Taylor from our local studios, recording began and a great buzz was following. Defiant's sound comprises of hard hitting new age beats, guitars that bring a new twist on the rocky metal style and an overall sound that's tight and energetic. With the current line-up of Ben Freestone on guitar and vox, Tom Kennelly on lead guitar, Tom Taylor on drums and Danny Berry on bass, Defiant are working hard to bring their music to everyone possible. After spending over £1300 on the 4 track EP you can find YOUR free copy at any gig, with over 500 given out in all gigs since the EP launch on 20th Feb 09 at the Soundhouse, Bolton with even more from free digital downloads online.
