A Calm Nothing is a collaborative effort founded by two people interested in exploring the realm of free form experimentation in both electronic and acoustic sound. Sometimes these experiments coalesce into more thought out pieces of music, sometimes they remain free to further abstract themselves as far from our control as they desire.If anything, our material can come across as somewhat visual, often focusing on how sound may be used to create it's own unexpected landscape that the listener might journey through. Usually quite calming, meditative and hypnotic, but also with a tendency to give in to the chaos that underlies these forms, our music works well during those quiet moments one has to oneself, engulfed by ones own inner experience.
